Chief Financial Officer for an Exciting Development Journey

About the Role

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for the overall finance and financial follow-up. The role suits you who thrive in a broad function where you both work operationally with ongoing accounting and take a strategic approach to the company's financial management.

You will play a central role in creating clarity, structure, and quality in the financial processes - especially important as the company today has a need for strengthened after-calculation, follow-up, and controlling.

Main Responsibilities

  • Responsible for bookkeeping, monthly financial statements, and annual accounts
  • Ensure correct and proactive financial management and follow-up
  • Develop effective routines for financial management and after-calculation
  • Ongoing approval of invoices
  • Controlling work such as budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
  • Support management and operations with decision-making data and financial insights

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a solid background in accounting and controlling who thrives in a responsible role with a significant mandate to influence. You are analytical, structured, and enjoy creating order and clarity.

We would like you to have:

  • Several years of experience in qualified financial work
  • Good understanding of the entire accounting chain, from ongoing bookkeeping to financial statements
  • Experience in controller-related tasks
  • Interest in process improvement and efficiency
  • Experience from an auditing firm such as PwC or EY is a plus
